"Buy Me" is an HGTV show that airs on
CableTV at various times

A Canadian show, "Buy Me" has become so popular in the US that
three cities were chosen - Denver, Chicago and Raleigh - in which to film 9 new
episodes. I was honored to work with them on two.

Three of the crew came to my office,
to film my website skills.

They also came to my home office to catch me working on my computer there.
This is the soundman that day, Ben from Durham - isn't that a HUGE mike?

At the Fiddlewood Ct house w/Bob & Marji:

Setting up for the listing process on the first day.

cameras and lights all around

They needed to block out the sun's rays.

Bob and me at the table, patiently waiting to begin discussing the listing.

On the left is Murray (the asst' director),
helping the various film crew get everything set up.

The listing procedure is so important that it is always carefully documented.

A few weeks later Fiddlewood was almost ready...this is during the staging process.

Michael and Alex, more of the great local crew.

Bob & Marji Maarschalkerweerd, my sellers,
good friends, and now ex-neighbors.
I miss them!

Because their home sold in 6 DAYS!

In the meantime, on Cattail Circle....

Time to get started for this listing meeting.

Leslie Bradford (the wonderful seller of my second
"Buy Me" house and new friend) and I sit down at the table.

Ishmael needs to adjust the camera...

Oops, I am too short and need to sit on some phone books!

Still waiting for the camera setup...

I decide to brush my hair.

Johanna comes by to help...

She pats powder on Leslie and me to remove excess "shine".

We chat with the film crew, who are all so nice!
(check out the viewfinder)

Mark looks in to the lens.

Dora - the director of all the Raleigh shows - me, and Mark....

Leslie, me and Dora...it takes longer to set up than one would think!

We finally film the listing discussion and get started on this house.

Warm and wonderful Frankie (from Montreal, in Raleigh for a year,
the on-site producer) and I are outside of Leslie's house.

Murray (on the right, also from Montreal) and the crew
are inside the house to film me taking pics.

David, Aravind & Murray

We go from room to room as I snap away.
(I took the real pics the day before.)

Murray films me with the "Buy Me" sign

The Cattail home sold in just 11 days of showings.
And a very interesting story it was too, IMHO.

Leslie, me and Dora, the incredibly talented director
of all the Raleigh "Buy Me" shows.

David, one of the wonderful cameramen
(you can see me in the viewfinder, holding up the camera that took this picture)

another shot with me in the viewfinder
I love pictures within pictures!

Alex and Michael...

Leslie can't wait to hear about all that has gone on while she
was in NY, seeing play after play (Leslie is a theatre lover, like me.)

And I can't wait to tell her!

Sharyn, Johanna and Leslie, my happy homeowner.
